Emma Cramm is a passionate financial planner and member of the FPA NextGen Leadership Team. She is currently studying for her CFA and specializes in estate planning, helping clients build their legacy and honor the wishes of their loved ones.
“Getting to walk alongside clients and their families when they’ve lost someone and saying, ‘Hey, I’m handling all this paperwork, and I know this process, so let me walk through it with you so that you don’t have to worry about money,’” she says.
Emma never expected to take an interest in financial planning. When she was younger, she wanted to become a basketball coach and had no interest in money.
However, her family went through difficult financial times, so she decided she never wanted to worry about money. A family friend suggested she look into financial planning, and she ended up interning in it.
She soon realized this was the career she was meant for, and loves helping clients through their financial worries. She also has a heart for mentoring younger people and wants to help them make smart financial decisions.
She realized her perfectionism had been guiding her and she needed to focus on her heart and her passion. Now, Emma is an experienced financial planner and mentor who is passionate about helping others find their own freedom.
